Functional Dry Needling is a technique performed by a certified practitioner with a needle through the skin into areas of muscle known as trigger points. Trigger points typically occur after a muscle has been contracted repetitively. Well Body uses dry needling with the goal of inactivating trigger points to relieve pain or improve range of motion. Research supports that dry needling improves pain control, reduces muscle tension, and normalize impulses transmitted to the muscles.
Dry needling is an effective treatment for acute and chronic pain, rehabilitation from injury, and even pain and injury prevention.
Results are typically apparent within 1-4 treatment sessions, but can vary depending on the cause and duration of the symptoms, and overall health of the individual.

Chiropractic care at our clinic consists of deep myofascial release and chiropractic adjustments (spinal manipulation). It is important to release muscle groups before applying a force to the joint to release restrictions. The Chiropractic adjustment is used to increase range of motion and to reduce pain in areas of concern. The combination of both therapies is what produces a fast result that last.
During your initial visit the doctor will go over your intake forms to review medical history, you will be assessed post history review and you will receive treatment the day of if you are a candidate for the service.

Well Body practitioners are certified in Webster Technique. Webster is a technique used during pregnancy. It consists of a sacral (your sit bone) analysis, chiropractic adjustments and myofascial release.
The goal of the sacral adjustment is to reduce the effects of sacroiliac joint restriction. In doing so neuro-biomechanical function in pelvis is facilitated. The technique also requires that we release specific muscles and ligaments manually to reduce torsion of the uterus. This may offer optimal fetal positioning and pain relief.
